This week the MOR Paleo Field Crew is in Makoshika State Park in Glendive, Montana. Makoshika preserves extensive outcrops of the Hell Creek Formation, the geologic unit that records the end of the Age of Dinosaurs in Montana. In the first photo, MOR Lab & Field Specialist Scott Williams is helping prepare part of a T. rex foot bone in the Makoshika Visitor Center. In the second photo, MSU undergraduate student Justice Lamer is examining a piece of fossil turtle shell in the field.
